After 2 months of collections CLNW is happy to announce that we took our first load of electronics to be recycled. The total weight was just under 1,500 pounds. That's 3/4 of a ton of electronics waste that won't be going in a land fill and will instead be recycled! I'm so glad to be working with Washington State on this project!

Can't we all just get along. At Computer Link Northwest we speak Mac and PC.

In the early 1980s, tensions rose between Apple and Microsoft as both companies developed graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for their operating systems. Steve Jobs believed Microsoft had mimicked key features of the Macintosh, particularly its use of windows, icons, and a mouse-driven interface—elements that distinguished Mac from earlier text-based systems.

When Jobs confronted Bill Gates over what he considered an act of intellectual theft, Gates offered a famously pointed reply. Comparing Xerox to a wealthy neighbor, Gates said that Jobs had already "taken the TV" before he got there. This statement referenced the fact that Apple itself had drawn inspiration from Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center), where early GUI prototypes had been developed in the 1970s—years before either company brought them to market.
