Tech Tip Tuesday: Be extra careful with “update your account” emails.
Recent breach reports continue to show that exposed names and email addresses are often used for follow-up phishing attempts. That means even a simple-looking email can be risky.
Before you click:
✅ Check the sender’s email address
✅ Don’t open unexpected attachments
✅ Go directly to the company’s website instead of using the link
✅ Report suspicious messages to your IT team
When in doubt, don’t click it out. 🔐
