A $150 fuse will not change how your system sounds

Audiophile fuses claim to improve clarity and detail, but a fuse is a basic safety component, not a tone shaping one. The science behind the claim does not hold up, and that money is better spent on gear that actually makes a difference. Come ask us where to put it instead.

Chelsea breaks down what makes the Diptyque DP115 so different. No cone and no dome tweeter, just a flat isodynamic panel and a full-height ribbon tweeter that deliver fast, precise sound. It is slim enough to disappear into your space, and the finishes are fully customizable. Come hear it in person at the Modus AV Listening Lounge. Have you ever heard a planar speaker?

The speaker that is too big for your room.

Bigger is not always better. A massive speaker or subwoofer in a small room often sounds worse, boomy, overwhelming, and poorly balanced, not more impressive. The right size for your space matters more than the biggest box on the shelf. Come let us help you find the right fit.

There is a difference between hearing bass and feeling it. Today we are talking subwoofers, the piece of your system responsible for that punch in your chest during a movie or a bassline. Come feel the difference in our lounge.

Why more watts does not mean louder.

Bigger wattage numbers feel impressive on paper, but loudness does not scale the way most people think. What actually matters is matching power to your speakers and your room, not maxing out a spec sheet. Come let us help you pair it correctly.
