Yesterday was a colorful morning in the Jenny Giese greenhouse. It was an honor to be able to meet new friends and introduce them to the energy of color and demo a bit of color analysis.

Everyone was able to see whether or not bright white or off white is a better match with their features. Spoiler: everyone in the room looked best in off white!

I selected the color Purple Up as the color that represents me when I did the color oracle activity at the Drops de Cor color analysis training. It aligns with me in two different ways:

From a seasonal color analysis perspective, it’s a spring purple, making it one of the colors that brings out my natural features.

From a color energy perspective, it represents creativity, originality, authenticity, and vibrant energy.
A perfect match for someone who’s a designer and color analyst!

I think it’s exciting that we can use color to help us look our best and express who we are. This works both professionally and personally.

Warm & bright colors often communicate things like:
– Energy
– Confidence
– Approachability
– Charisma

But here’s the important part: those colors look different for every season.

A Cool Summer’s “warm & bright” isn’t the same as a Warm Autumn’s. And, that’s exactly why seasonal color analysis matters.

The same principle applies to branding. Color influences first impressions whether you’re getting dressed in the morning or designing a website.

Join me this Saturday, June 13, for quick 30-minute in-person color analysis sessions to find out your personal color season (including subseason). You’ll see yourself draped in your season’s best colors, neutrals and jewelry colors. You’ll leave with a physical swatch fan and a digital color guide for your season to help you learn how to wear your best colors.
