The Poca Heritage Day Band Festival was held on September 228, 2013. Congratulations to the Grand Champions, Capital High School and Sissonville High School, and to all of the bands that performed!

Pictures from the Poca band festival are almost ready! Once ready, they'll be available for purchase at http://photos.skyrailscreative.com. In the meantime, here's a peek at the Class D bands (Shady Spring, Buffalo, South Charleston, and Herbert Hoover), Class C bands (Wahama, Nicholas County, Sissonville, Lincoln County, and Ravenswood), Class B bands (Scott, Point Pleasant, Nitro, Huntington, and Wayne), and Class A bands (Winfield, Capital, and Spring Valley) as well as the exhibition by the host, Poca.

Congrats to Capital and Sissonville for winning Grand Champion in their divisions last night at Poca! We're working on pictures from all of the bands and will make them available at photos.skyrailscreative.com later this week.

Photos from the Sissonville Valentines' Dance are now available at http://photos.skyrailscreative.com/2013-sissonville-valentines-dance. Students who purchased a package at the dance will receive their prints at school and should contact the band with any questions.

The Sissonville High School Band sponsored a Valentines' Dance for the student body. We were there to take portraits, but we snuck in a few candids as well. Thanks to Corey Green and his boosters for putting on the dance and Coach Kid from Electric 102.7FM for keeping the kids energized.

Well, the weather won out at the Sissonville Band Festival. The bands are still performing, but the rain ran us off. Best of luck to all the bands performing today!
