Research inspires innovation.

One of the most rewarding parts of building MÓTUS is seeing our engineering direction align with years of published research in wearable gait analysis.

A research paper titled Measurement of Foot Placement and Its Variability with Inertial Sensors highlights how wearable inertial sensors (IMUs) can objectively measure gait outside of specialized motion capture labs.

That's exactly the direction we're pursuing at MíMíroír Technologies, LLC. We're building MÓTUS, a modular wearable platform designed to independently capture left and right foot movement to support rehabilitation, gait analysis, patient engagement, and human performance.
We're still early, but it's exciting to know we're building on a strong scientific foundation while working to make these capabilities more accessible in real-world settings.

MíMíroír Technologies, LLC recently had the opportunity to participate in Black Tech Week 2026, where we showcased Mótus™ and the Reflexion platform, connected with founders, healthcare professionals, mentors, investors, and innovators from across the country.

The conversations, feedback, and connections we made throughout the week were incredibly valuable as we continue building wearable rehabilitation technology focused on movement assessment and patient engagement.

We're grateful to everyone who took the time to learn about what we're building and to the Black Tech Week team for creating an incredible experience.

Today, MíMíroír Technologies, LLC had the opportunity to demonstrate Reflexion and Mótus to the team at Vandalia Health CAMC Physical Therapy.

We showcased real-time movement tracking, cadence metrics, gait analysis, balance monitoring, patient-owned care profiles, and the broader vision behind the Reflexion ecosystem.

What made today exciting wasn't just demonstrating technology—it was seeing clinicians interact with the platform, ask questions, discuss real-world applications, and provide feedback on how connected movement intelligence could support rehabilitation, wellness, and patient engagement.

Moments like this remind us why we're building.

We're grateful to the CAMC Physical Therapy team for their time, engagement, and willingness to explore new possibilities. We look forward to continuing the conversation and sharing what comes next.

We were officially accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Program.

A lot of late nights, testing, rebuilding, app development, hardware validation, website work, and public demos went into getting here.

Still early. Still growing. Still building.

But moments like this remind me that the vision is becoming more real step by step.
