It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Straits Area Computer.
Due to unforeseen circumstances involving family down south, I need to focus my time and energy on supporting them right now. This was not an easy decision to make, but family must come first.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every customer, client, and neighbor who has supported Straits Area Computer over the years. Serving this community, helping you with your technical needs, and building these relationships has been an absolute privilege.

September 25th 2026 will be our very last day open! So if you want to get your last minute checkups, last minute cleanups or last minute repairs!! You better get in ASAP! I am very sorry. This whole community has been nothing but supportive!

We do not modify or repair controllers for PlayStation 3 and up, honestly by the time you get any kind of parts into them for a repair you can get a refurbished one for cheaper. Nor do we repair them for Xbox any longer.
