What a wonderful evening last night at the Evanston Art Center’s art benefit party. It was such an inspiring night surrounded by so many talented artists, collectors, and supporters of the arts — especially fellow artist Shannon Miller. Coincidentally, her beautiful Elephant art piece was placed right next to mine! Very cool ☀️

I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event, and I was truly thrilled to see my piece, Blue Sky, sold during the silent auction.

Moments like these remind me why I love creating and sharing art with others.

Another beautiful Sunday Painting Workshop at Swoboda 🦋✨

Today we explored painting butterflies in watercolor, with a couple of demos on loose watercolor techniques and acrylics to get everyone started. From there, each person created their own unique piece—and the results were incredible.

So many beautiful paintings emerged, each one reflecting a personal style and color story. It’s always inspiring to witness creativity unfold in the room.

Even with the rain coming and going, the energy inside was bright and full.
