✨Back to the Art Shed updates (from May! 🤭)

Finally at the point where I got to start painting the ceiling… but first, it’s all about the prep. 🎨

Paint? Check. ✔️
Roller? Check. ✔️
Sand texture? Check. ✔️
All the tools I’ve been waiting to use? Absolutely. ✔️

There’s just something so satisfying about getting everything ready and knowing a big transformation is about to happen.

Now… let’s get that ceiling painted! 👀🎨

Okay… it’s been a minute since I’ve shared an Art Shed update! 😅

There’s a LOT to catch you up on! So let’s start by sharing some of the progress we made this spring.

First up: getting the ceiling primed! 🎨✨

Next up… finishing that ceiling paint and moving onto the WALLS! Make sure to check back… you’re going to LOVE the cheery yellow color I chose! 💛💛💛✨✨✨

Happy Sunday! ☀️ I’m a little behind on sharing my progress, but not on building. 😅 We’re heading back to spring for one of the biggest milestones in my dream art shed: drywall! After what felt like endless compounding, sanding, and cleaning up mountains of dust, it was finally done. 🎉
Next up: paint… including that happy yellow color I’ve been so excited about! 💛

Nature can’t fix everything… but it always helps ground me again. 🌿

Whenever I’m stressed, mentally overloaded, or creatively drained, getting outside helps me slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with myself.

Especially this time of year, seeing new life all around me always seems to spark that same renewal in my own creativity too.

The Horicon Marsh has always been one of those places that helps me reset and come back feeling inspired again.
