Three years. A hundred reasons to quit. Best sushi in Seattle.

Three years ago, Sumin opened Kazoku.

I watched the hard parts. The slow nights. The years nobody posts about.

She kept going.

Now she’s a multi-year Best of Snohomish County winner for sushi, Asian cuisine, and service, and 425 Magazine and Seattle Met have both named Kazoku a top spot in the region.

But here’s the one that gets me: her team wants to be there. If you know restaurants, you know that’s the hardest award to win, and nobody hands out a trophy for it.

Congratulations, Sumin. Year three looks good on you. 🍣

Everyone is watching Seattle but Lynnwood is the one quietly changing! Easy accessible light-rail and housing going vertical!

And speaking about vertical housing, one of Lynnwood’s newest residential complexes had their ribbon cutting today. Amazing property with so many amenities we were lucky to tour today!

I went there for the ribbon cutting and left with a plan! All I can say is that something is coming and this is where we’re doing it 👀
