Do you know what browser extensions are installed on your computer right now? šŸ‘€

Microsoft recently removed 119 malicious extensions from the Edge store after they were downloaded around 2.6 million times. They looked like normal ad blockers, PDF tools, VPNs, translators, and other helpful add-ons.

Most browser extensions are completely safe. But if you donā€™t use it, donā€™t recognize it, or donā€™t understand why it needs certain permissions, it may be time to remove it.

Consider this your reminder to check. You might be surprised by whatā€™s hiding up there.
