I am deeply honored to share that I have been selected as an official presenter for the 2026 Ohio Early Childhood Conference hosted by the OHIO ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 1:00 to 3:00 PM, I will lead an interactive session titled:

From Classrooms to Communities: Advancing Equity and Advocacy in Early Childhood

Our work does not stop at circle time. It extends into homes, neighborhoods, policy spaces, and the systems that shape children’s futures.

In this session, we will explore cultural competence, cultural humility, and advocacy through storytelling, case studies, and meaningful dialogue. Participants will leave with practical tools to build inclusive partnerships and confidently influence the policies that impact children and families every day.

I will also be an exhibitor at the conference. Be sure to visit our table to connect, learn about our literacy and family engagement initiatives, and explore ways to partner in advancing equitable outcomes for children across Ohio.

If you believe early childhood professionals are leaders, advocates, and architects of the future, this is a space you do not want to miss.
