RThompson Productions is the creation of Richard Thompson, an imaginative producer of radio sweepers and legals, script-writer, and voice over actor who is driven by an incredible passion for creating the best possible product on every type of production. His productions are noted for their unique style, the ability to utilize other talent to their maximum potential and arranging productions that
match the talent with the subject matter being promoted. Richard has developed a style that uses rhythmic music along with special effects to grab the attention of the audience within the first few seconds of the production and has been used as a model by his peers on how a radio production should be created. His expereience in working as a DJ for WZIP-Akron producing radio promotions, sweepers, legals for other individuals through the use of his voice over talent and the talent of others earned him Outstanding Radio Producer at the number one college student-run radio station in the nation, WZIP-Akron, voted by his peers. Richard's commitment to excellence made him the choice of the Production Director to assign him to a wide range of projects and purposes that had to be completed in a very short time frame. Richard is accomplished in traditional methods of radio production as well as experimenting with other techniques to create a product that when heard, is unique and distinctive. His productions have been featured in every daypart for WZIP. Richard is passiousing nate in the work he does, working on the project until it is the best production it can possibly be.
