One of the common myths about climate change states that rising temperatures are a natural occurrence, and just in line with natural shifts in our sun’s output over the years. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

NASA completed a study on Solar Irradiance (the energy the Earth receives from the Sun) and compared it to the global temperatures dating back to 1880. The result clearly shows that although we have received less energy from the sun in recent years, our planet’s temperature is rising quickly.

This is why Azultera is so passionate about making a big difference fast - our planet needs our help!

Carbon sinks are essential to our planet’s health. A carbon sink is any natural or manmade reservoir that stores carbon over a long period of time. These sinks help reduce the amount of carbon emissions in our atmosphere, and in turn helps fight climate change!

Part of Azultera’s core mission is to identify and amplify these carbon sinks. This way, farmers and other businesses can operate responsibly and achieve net-zero carbon emissions!

One of the largest impacts of climate change is actually on world economies. The Swiss Re Institute believes that as much as 18% of global GDP could be wiped out by the year 2050. Of course, this would have massive impacts on the population throughout the world.

Azultera is working to prevent scenarios like these caused by climate change by finding and fixing the broken carbon cycles on our planet. Every completed project makes a huge impact on our local - and global - environment!

According to climate.gov, Earth’s temperature has risen by 0.14° F (0.08° C) per decade since 1880, and the rate of warming over the past 40 years is more than twice that: 0.32° F (0.18° C) per decade since 1981.

Although these numbers may appear small considering the length of time that has passed, but in fact, they have a huge impact on our environment. Azultera is committed to reversing climate change through the use of industry-leading technology developed by our team.

Many greenhouse gases occur naturally in our environment - including carbon, methane, and even water v***r. However, since the Industrial Revolution, humans have been greatly accelerating the amount of carbon emissions released into our atmosphere.

Although industry has helped us advance as a species, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, it has increased carbon dioxide levels 280 parts per million to about 417 parts per million in the last 151 years.

Azultera is leading the charge to measurably impact climate change using the latest technology, including machine learning and artificial intelligence. With a global concerted effort, we can reduce the impacts humans have as a whole on the environment!

Carbon emissions and greenhouse gases are often used as interchangeable terms but are not one and the same.

There are several gases, including carbon, that makeup greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. According to the EPA, carbon dioxide does makeup 80% of these greenhouse gases, however.

Azultera helps find and fix these emissions using plans specific to each gas and unique situation. This way, we implement long-term solutions to reduce overall emissions!

Energy consumption is currently the largest contributor to carbon emissions. The energy sector is massive and includes categories like transportation, electricity and heat, buildings, manufacturing and construction, in addition to fugitive emissions, and other fuel combustion.

According to the World Resources Institute, over 30% of total carbon emissions released into our atmosphere comes from transportation, buildings, and manufacturing.

Now is the time to make changes in how we live on our planet before the negative effects are irreversible!

Simply put, carbon emission is the release of carbon into the atmosphere. Although some of this process occurs naturally, the vast majority is caused by human consumption of fossil fuels.
This increased amount of carbon is a major contributor to climate change.
