I love to be inspired through my travels with the book cover designs I create for authors. In the past, it has shown up in a beautiful scene from a nature hike in Colombia, a stroll down a colorful street in Argentina, or a stunning sunset in Nicaragua.

This time, it has surfaced on a wall grouping of photos as I sit in a Cuban café while enjoying a cappuccino in Mexico City. The colorful palette and varying shades of orange, green, and brown combined with the aged photos of the countryside have given me loads of inspiration for my current book cover project.

This is where I thrive. This is where I truly feel alive to let my creative mind wander free.

Finding balance between work and play can be a challenge while working remotely. Especially as an adventurous full-time nomad who loves to explore new surroundings. So, co-working facilities really help me to stay focused so I can be productive when I need to be. Fortunately, CDMX is abundant with co-working options that have beautiful office workspaces. So far, I’m loving what this big city has to offer. I think I’m gonna like it here. Oh, and the unlimited supply of coffee and tea is a bonus! I’m gonna need it this week!

Office views today in San Cristobal, Mexico.
Birds singing. Hummingbirds fluttering. Sweet scents from flora and fruit trees. It’s a nature lovers paradise. It’s my kind of paradise.

And when I can combine my two favorite things: a passion for book design and my insatiable wanderlust spirit, it catapults me to new levels when it comes to inspiration, creativity, and productivity.

It also allows me to live my best life as a freedom-based entrepreneur while providing award-winning book design services for my author clients … from wherever >they are in the world.
