🎙️Had a great time with The Copper Creek Band last month. They’re fantastic performers and if you missed the show you can check out the video of them on the Sticky's Cabana YouTube page. I tried something new during this show and recorded their audio straight through the mixer while they were performing. In my opinion it’s the best audio quality you can get from live sound🎧

This inquisitive little Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) could have been kept in a cage if he were alive around 200 years ago.
From the 1800s through to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918, the vibrant red song bird was kept captive as popular pets due to their aesthetic appeal, melodious song, and adaptability.
Imagining such an aggressively territorial creature held in captivity, wether it be a larger aviary or a single-bird-cage, really ruffles my feathers. Im happy that alot of wild bird species are protected in many places, as in numerous cases it just cannot be considered ethical. Remember to keep your distance and let nature not be impeded by your presence, a creature who flies belongs to the skies.

🐝Did you know there are aproximately 4,000 species of Bees in North America alone?
We are fairly sure this little fella is a Common Eastern Bumble Bee (Bombus impatiens) but we cant lie! We just dont know enough to carefully identify with the help of diagrams and search engines alone. Are you good at identifying insect species? Leave a comment and let us know!
