Our Family Office Is Supporting The AI Freedom Alliance 2026 Summit

AI Freedom Alliance promotes the responsible growth of AI guided by practical, common sense ethics. Our nonprofit is built by professionals from a wide range of industries and is made up entirely of small- and medium business representatives—never large tech companies. We provide a counter balance to big corporate influence, focusing instead on how AI can benefit businesses and the world at large.

On Thursday December 5, 2024, we have one of the most important power lunches of the year. If you attend only one of our events, this is the one to attend.

Most small business owners have never heard of Corporate Transparency Act. Yet, every business is expected to be in compliance by the end of 2024. And my understanding is that hefty fines await those who do not comply.

In order to help our Power Lunch crowd, we have invited attorneys Jeff Wahl and J. D. Bridges to discuss the law, rules, compliance, and risks. We are thankful for the generosity of our guests sharing their expertise with us.

As always, we start the meeting at 11:45 a.m. and give everybody a chance to settle in then introduce our guests around 12:00 ish. We tend to finish around 12:55 to give everybody the time to make their 1:00 o'clock meetings if they need to.

On Wednesday farhat and I enjoyed spending our morning with other family business owners. The Conway Center for Family Business expo was a great time to promote our Farhat services and Loquantur, Inc. What an amazing group

I would like to get an early start on reminding everybody of our Virtual Power Lunch with Farhats on Thursday October 21 at 11:30 US Eastern Time. SJ Barakony will be our guest for the lunch.

SJ has recently given a couple of talks on behalf of SBDC entitled: "Battle-Tested Strategies for High-Stakes Negotiations". And on Thursday, he will give us a lunch sized version of that presentation - and as always with a lot of time for open discussion and conversation.
