Q: How will more access to foot traffic data impact local media spend?

A: I hope spend will be affected in the positive, simply as this kind of data will make advertising more effective. If the ads drive more sales, local business will put more ad dollars to work. Large brands, that are sophisticated in the planning of their media, spend ever-increasing percentages of their overall budget in OOH, most large brands up to 25% and more, giving smaller, local businesses access to those same sophisticated tools and data points, is good for them, so good for the OOH industry.
