If you're using LastPass to store your passwords online, be aware that LastPass suffered a major data breach which compromised users' personal data and put their online passwords and other sensitive information at risk. It is recommended that you change all passwords that were stored in LastPass, and you may wish to consider a different password storage solution.

"The unauthorized party was able to gain access to unencrypted customer account information like LastPass usernames, company names, billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and IP addresses, according to Toubba. That same unauthorized party was also able to steal customer vault data, which includes unencrypted data like website URLs as well as encrypted data like the usernames and passwords for all the sites that LastPass users have stored in their vaults."

It's time to start looking for a different password manager after the latest LastPass data breach.

In the event that an issue cannot be resolved remotely, our technician will take all necessary precautions when providing on-site support (including facial covering and device sanitation) to minimize any risk to our customers and technician.

March 2020 Update – To comply with Ohio’s “Stay at Home” order and limit community transmission of COVID-19, Call-a-Tek will be providing technical services remotely while the order is in effect for Ohio.

Attention Windows 10 users! It is strongly recommended to run Windows Update to resolve a vulnerability that was announced and patched by Microsoft yesterday. Go to Start> Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update, and install the "2020-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10" and any other available updates to secure your Windows computer from vulnerabilities.
