There is a unique kind of professional "grief" we don’t talk about enough: the end of a long-term partnership. 💔

Whether it is a vendor who knows exactly how you like your projects or a client who has grown alongside your business, those years of collaboration create something much deeper than a contract. 🤝 They become your "work besties." You develop a shorthand, you anticipate each other's needs, and you celebrate wins together. 🎉

It is always a gut punch when those people move on to new roles, relocate, or get reassigned. 😔 Even with the best intentions to stay in touch, the natural pull of separate lives and new responsibilities often makes it difficult to maintain that same spark. ✨

Reflecting on some of the partners I’ve lost over the last year, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic. However, looking at it through a positive lens, I’ve realized two things:

The Blueprint Remains: Even if the person is gone, the standard of excellence they helped build stays with the business. 🏗️ They left a mark on how I work and what I value in a partnership.

Space for New Chapters: Saying goodbye to a long-term collaborator opens the door to meeting someone new who brings a fresh perspective and different energy to the table. 🆕

To everyone I’ve worked with who has moved on to bigger and better things: thank you for being more than just a name on a piece of paper. You made the work better and the days brighter. ☀️

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect Sunday to celebrate my beautiful niece's baby bump! Between the incredible "golden hour" light and the gorgeous weather, every shot felt like pure magic. This pregnancy glow is the real deal!
