WEEK #18 - “Shadow Fire”

Shadow Fire was created from an old cabinet door found at Greenwood Habitat Restore . It has a floating wood face along with acrylic accents for the hour markers.

Paint and burning techniques make this piece look as if it was salvaged from a burnt building.

A perfect accent for a rustic decor, this clock can be purchased from Main & Maxwell in Uptown Greenwood .

Lake Time II is a clock version of a popular custom sign that I also make for lake owners.

WEEK #16 - “Timeless Timbers”

Timeless Timbers is a unique clock built from reclaimed palette wood, scrap plywood, and leftover hardware. The beefy frame is full of cracks holes and imperfections that can’t be created intentionally. A healthy amount of torch burning gives the aged wood an extra cool finish that tops off the rustic look.

WEEK #15 - “Black Pearl”

Black Pearl is a great looking, nautical inspired mantel clock that was upcycled from an old vanity mirror found at a thrift store in Greenville, SC.

After stripping old paint and chiseling old resin flowers off of the old mirror, I gave it a new face using one of my favorite paint techniques that gives it an aged feel that looks simultaneously clean and dirty.

This clock lived for a short time at
in (Greenwood SC), but has been sold and now lives on to tell its story in an unknown home. Thank you to whomever purchased Black Pearl, I hope it brings you joy!

Commonly referred to as the Golden Rectangle or Golden Ratio, the proportions of this clock and shelf combo follow the mathematical sequence known as the Fibonacci sequence named after Italian mathematician Leonardo of Pisa.

Ratio=1.618

The idea of these “divine proportions” being the most perfect and beautiful ratio and therefore seen repeatedly in art, design, architecture, photography, music and nature has been widely debated for thousands of years. It could be said that the Golden Ratio (Phi) is the world’s most astonishing number.

Made from repurposed cedar fence boards, this torch tanned, semi-rustic clock is perfect for that mountain cabin, lake house, lodge, or getaway where wood decor abounds.
