Hello all. I know it's been a while since I posted here, but I wanted to address a current issue with Windows 10. Personally, I love the new Windows 10 operating system and the fact that it's a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users.
But here's the problem.... It's now being installed as a recommended update and not an optional one. What that means is that if you allow all required and recommended updates to download and install (which is the default), then you will wake up one morning and have a whole new operating system!
While I DO recommend upgrading to Windows 10, I do not like that it's being done by default. If you want to upgrade to Windows 10, then I suggest you click the icon in the bottom right and initiate it yourself so you have some control over when it's done. If you are sure you do not want to upgrade your PC to Windows 10, then you need to install one of these tools and click the buttons in the tool to have it stop the update and remove the windows 10 updater software.
