Work in Progress Wednesday!

Not to scare anyone (although it IS almost Halloween, the BEST time of year), but...

We are only 161 days away from AdeptiCon!

That's right. Time to start making some serious progress on those hobby projects!

I just finished up a unit of Tzaangors, and here are five of my favorites from the bunch.

What is everyone working on this week? Let's see those projects!

Blast from the past.

Ten years ago today, Dragon Fall III took place, and here are some action shots from that weekend.

Looking back: a different venue, a smaller crowd, and some questionable merch choices. (Powder blue? What was I thinking?)
I remember it all fondly.

Now itโ€™s a different animal entirely. Weโ€™ve grown, weโ€™ve gotten better at pretty much everything, and weโ€™ve learned a thing or two along the way.
Wisdom is a thing.

We literally can not do this without our Community.

Thank you to everyone who was there from the start and
everyone who has joined since.

We truly appreciate the partnership and the opportunity to bring our two Events together for an incredible weekend of Gaming, Fantasy, and Community throughout Lake Geneva. We look forward to continuing to build on this partnership in the years ahead!

We are going on twelve years now, and every year we learn something.

We get some things right. We find things we can do better.

But one thing never changes:

And most importantly, thank you for being part of this Community.

We hope you had as much fun as we did.

If youโ€™re in Lake Geneva this weekend, take a moment to appreciate the historic Horticultural Hall.

This unassuming building played an important role in the early history of tabletop gaming. It was home to the first Gen Con in 1968, organized by Gary Gygax, when a gathering of gamers was still a very small and unusual thing.

Pretty incredible that so much of our hobbyโ€™s history traces back to a building right here in Lake Geneva.
