Tiffany Studios hydrangea Snowball leaded-glass floor lamp from the collection of Seymour and Evelyn Holtzman. The 24" diameter shade depicts the hydrangea or Snowball motif, with mottled and freckled glass in shades of opalescent whites and streaked minty greens, and is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1538-16.” The Tiffany Studios six-socket 79" tall base is finished in a reddish-brown patina with subtle verdigris accents and is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 376.” The lamp includes the original Tiffany Studios acid-etched pigtail heat cap. The lamp sold for $442,800 (est. $300,000/600,000) at Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pennsylvania, on June 10 and 11.
