U.S. cities are drowning in waste and it's time we confront the recycling crisis. For many Americans, recycling has been a relatively easy task thanks to the introduction of curb-side programs. For consumers, using lithium-ion batteries is easy. For recyclers, it's a different story. These batteries can often be temperamental when it comes to extraction and disposal efforts.
