CellFix (and its owner/manager, Jim Roberts) has been a part of the Coppell business community since 2014 and has provided honest, high quality service to thousands of satisfied customers. We do not believe in, and will not, âsellâ a repair just for the money â customers get an honest assessment. Every time. Jim has, because he lives in and values the Coppell community, provided untold thousands of dollars worth of free advice and repairs.
While we strive to make every customer happy, as every business owner knows, that is simply not possible â some just donât like the answer they get. When it comes to electronic devices, it can be the cost to repair (yes, it can be costly) or hearing that the device is (often due to liquid damage or irreparable internal damage) beyond, or not worth, repair. In the case of the latter, we realize itâs hard to hear that whatever happened to a device rendered it irreparable, but to expect us to provide indefinite free storage/rental space while a customer decides if itâs worth their time to retrieve the ânow-paper weightâ, is hardly fair. We just donât have that kind of room⌠If a customer opts not to retrieve the device and dispose of it themselves, we provide that service and have the device recycled.
The CellFix Coppell page is and has always been active, and messaging through the page is the best way to reach us. Jim has willingly given (and actually listed on the page) his personal cell number. Can he answer 24/7? Unfortunately, no - he does sleep now and thenâŚ. His voicemail fills up daily and, yes, sometimes texts get buried. But he has done repairs at 7 a.m., during family dinners, 9 p.m., midnight, and literally at 3 a.m. for customers whoâve had device emergencies. Our goal is to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, and to provide customer information for ongoing repairs as timely as possible depending on what information is available. And, again, the messaging feature of the page is the best way for customers and us to maintain communication. We ask everyone to please use that feature.
We are still able to offer same-day service for most phone screen replacements, but due to Covid, the supply chain has been severely disrupted and some repairs are taking much longer than we would like since we often have to wait weeks for parts to arrive. Parts that used to arrive in a day or two, now take a week or two, or longer. Like everyone else, we are anxious for that to improve.
We greatly appreciate the support we receive from our loyal customers and the Coppell community.
