Client came in with a PC built by Microcenter that was completely dead. Motherboard was barely screwed down, wires pinched and coming apart at the connectors, non-functioning liquid cooler from a bad & melted connection, non functioning strimmer cable… and some of the WORST cable “management” I’ve seen done as a paid service by a business.

Replaced the dead board, RAM, AIO and CPU. Recovered the clients windows install and fixed their secondary drive & cleaned it all up nice.

Up & running again on a ROG Global X870 board, Ryzen 9900X, 64GB Crucial PRO DDR5 & an ARCTIC 360mm 3 PRO aio.

So many screens! @) Client fan upgrade request completed.

Computex may have had all the cool mods, glass panel cases, RGB fans & screens but, none of those things will be useful (or probably working) in 3 decades like this case still is.

Thermals are surprisingly good & staying below scary numbers while playing heavy titles like Wukon, Indiana jones, DOOM TDA, Diablo 4. Fans are keeping this old beige box from becoming an iron foundry!

Just because it’s old, doesn’t mean it’s junk!
