Cool Vault Find! In 1990, Swamp relocated to Austin, TX. I started making & distributing shirts for the Big Boys and Frank Kozik. Some mailorders(pre-internet) and wholesale. Back then you would send a shirt, record, zine or whatever, and include a note or flyer(pictured) to mags to let people what you were making. My favorite was “factsheet 5”. It was kinda like an early version of the internet but in newspaper/magazine print form… reviews of underground or weird stuff people made. Music, zines, games, art, etc.… and you hoped people would send you money to keep making stuff! I also sold to stores, including Plantet K in Austin. Randy “Buscuit” Turner worked there and we sold a lot of all the shirts from their stores! Anywho… I found a box with some of the original separations, real films with hand cut amberlith color seps. They haven’t seen light in 30+ years.. funny timing cause the Big Boys documentary is finally coming out! Go see it in Austin on “go skate day”!!! FUN FUN FUN
