Whatsup y’all! Just wanted to lob a quick “I’m still here” type of post on this page. I have been taking time off from music to enjoy a bit of family life and Colorado in the winter 🏂. If you ever wondered why a white dude that can just about speak survival spanish would run around calling himself "Taco Truck" read on…
The name is born out of a desire to make light of heavy issues. For years I wanted to 'keep it real' by operating under the government tag. I saw myself like other real name DJ's in that super cool track jacket, glaring longingly off into the distance with droves of gorgeous women constanly in the booth. Unfortunately I have a self depreciating sense of humor and lack the narcissism to talk about how great everything always is all the time. While I had some truly amazing experiences during that period, going to the next level as a rock god wasn't for me. Around the same time this realization was setting in, the vibe in New York took a heavy turn toward commercialism. So I took a heavy turn towards the exit and completely stepped out of the scene. .
Three years later as I step back into it under the name Taco Truck, it’s about coming from a place of fun without the self-absorbed vibe. Just a focus on good energy, great people and banging beats. Also it's easy to remember, fun to promote, and a great excuse to pass out delicious tacos 😉

Today we'll be putting out the first official release. If you dig the sound, please stay in touch. Hopefully we'll share a spicy one and a bass drop some day...
