"Just Perfect. I've been practising typing for a while now on Typing Club with an FPS Pro and just started using this and it's amazing how little you have to move your hands and fingers to do the same. I just love it."

Thanks to Santiago Marín for sharing his experience using the X-Bows ergonomic keyboard.

Another success story in the fight against RSI.

Another success story in the fight against typing-induced strain and discomfort.
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 "As a long time sufferer of pain and numbness from keyboarding-while-tense, I have moved through many versions and generations of "ergonomic" keyboards. (Starting with the OG Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro in 1999.)

Imagine my surprise when I went through the short but important learning curve of moving to the X-Bows ortholinear layout, and found out that my issues evaporated immediately and permanently.

As an original backer in 2018, I am a long-term user and can confirm the build quality and general "office appropriate" understated/professional aesthetic of these boards.

The final test was my own foolishness: I became complacent and tried switching back to a standard layout keyboard so that I could share a WFH station with my wife. Imagine my surprise when I found myself flat on the floor with florid RSI from wrist to neck, after many years of not even thinking about it.

Switched back to the X-Bows and within *minutes* the pain began to subside.

I run a Knight Plus at work and a Lite at home, which I will upgrade to a Crystal shortly.

Thank you to X-Bows and Dr. Sig. I can't recommend these enough."

Thank you for sharing your experience. Authentic feedback helps other developers, writers, and creators make informed choices to protect their long-term endurance.

Every key on an X-Bows is geometrically positioned to align with the natural movement trajectory of your fingertips radiating outward, ensuring a more fluid, strain-free typing experience.

⏳If you are hesitating about the change, don't worry. As Nedim told us:

💬"It's good. I had to get through hours of training to fix my muscle memory on it, but now I type faster than before."

✨Many thanks to Nedim for sharing his experience!

⌨️ The standard staggered layout is a trap of complacency.

We often do not realize how much tension our hands are forced to carry until the hardware is finally changed. This kindred spirit—an original backer since 2018—recently shared a powerful reminder of what happens when you attempt to revert to legacy tools: the immediate return of wrist fatigue and physical friction.

Many early "ergonomic" boards from the late 90s attempted to solve typing discomfort by simply splitting the board in half, but they fundamentally failed by still relying on flawed, typewriter-derived staggered columns.

Thank you for being with us since the beginning.
The hardware should always adapt to the human, never the other way around.

⌨️ Your keyboard should work in harmony with your body, not against it.

It is easy to dismiss the discomfort of prolonged typing as simply part of the job, rather than questioning the tool itself. The reality is that the traditional staggered-layout keyboard—a design derived from mechanical typewriters—forces your wrists into frequent ulnar deviation, significantly increasing carpal tunnel pressure.

A sincere thank you to John—a writer and owner of three X-Bows keyboards—for taking the time to share his experience.

By switching to a health-conscious, radial-columnar splay that respects natural resting angles, the X-Bows ergonomic keyboard allows you to write for hours and type without pain.

🔄 Muscle memory is not as stubborn as you think.

⌨️ There is a common misconception that decades of typing on a standard, staggered keyboard permanently locks you into that geometry.

⭐ Take a look at this feedback from Adam. He spent over forty years building muscle memory on legacy keyboards. Yet, moving to the X-Bows radial-columnar layout happened "surprisingly quickly".

👐 The truth is, your body naturally prefers natural postures and movements.

⚡ Do not let the fear of a learning curve keep you tied to hardware that causes fatigue.

Typing discomfort gets accepted too easily.

Wrist tension, numbness, fatigue. A lot of people treat it like part of the job when it should raise a bigger question.

I’m Dr. Sig, and I founded X-Bows because the problem is not just typing itself—it is the physical layout people repeat for hours every day.

We changed that geometry. By replacing outdated designs with an anatomical radial-columnar splay, we built a health-conscious tool that respects the natural resting angles of your hands. It makes typing feel more natural, less strained, and easier to live with over time.

If you're curious about why we're still typing on 19th-century designs—and how we are finally fixing it—I broke down the whole history here:
