The Great Hunt - Book 5 of my 2026 books in art series! I think I read this one in February into March. Written by Robert Jordan and book number 2 in the Wheel of Time series!

While the first book felt like a bit of a Tolkien retelling with heavy world building, book two took a turn for the more adventurous! With a great hunt for a legendary horn, magic pathways with mysterious doors, and a mysterious woman, it felt like one of the great tales of King Arthur! Which I loved. .

Art for my 4th read of 2026, The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan ~ I read this one in February. .
I really enjoyed seeing how much he pulled from classic stories like the Lord of the Rings and the tales of King Arthur. But then on the flip side, it was so neat seeing how younger authors have pulled so much inspiration from him. (The beginning of Eragon and the beginning of this book were very similar 👀) .

Art for my 3rd read of the year, finished back in January. Inspired by Isles of the Emberdark by Brandon Sanderson! I was very much so inspired by the neat cover on this one! This was such a cool combination the different parts of the universe he has created. Space travel meets bird magic and inter dimensional spaces 🌴 .
