First look at the NYPD Mustang Mach E patrol car. This is part of the NYPD’s latest step towards electrifying their fleet of cars, with a plan on buying 1,250 EVs in 2022 and transitioning to an all-electric fleet by 2035.

The new EV Patrol vehicle is a Mustang Mach E GT, powered by an 88KwH battery that puts out 459hp giving it a 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. So, good luck to anyone trying to get away in a chase.
