New downtown mural in Independence, Iowa! 🌹🇺🇸🌽 This design reflects the spirit of Independence, serving as a reminder of the values and heritage that have helped shape the community. Positioned at the heart of the mural, “Celebrate Our Spirit” highlights pride, unity and the connection between their local story and our nation’s story. Flowers are the foundation and main subject matter of my work to symbolize growth, resilience and positivity.
