Earlier this month, we officially broke ground on our fiber network in Jetmore! 🚧
For more than 20 years, United has served Jetmore and made continued investments in the community’s communications infrastructure. This project marks the next step: transitioning from the existing cable network to fiber and building a robust network that can support Jetmore for years to come.
United staff and leadership joined Amerine Utilities Construction, Inc. and representatives from the Kansas Office of Broadband Development (Kansas Department of Commerce), the Office of U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D., and Hodgeman County Economic Development to celebrate the start of construction.
Projects like this take strong partnerships and a shared commitment to rural communities. A special thank-you to everyone who joined us for the groundbreaking, and to Hodgeman County Economic Development for providing the ceremonial shovels. We’re proud to continue investing in Jetmore and appreciate everyone who has helped move this project forward.
Live in Jetmore city limits? Sign-ups are open now. We will only build fiber to homes and businesses that are on the list, so don’t miss your opportunity to be included. Get on the list at getunited.com/jetmorefiber or call 620-227-8641.
