One year of Christina Hicks Creative. 🎉

One year ago I bet on myself and started this business — and honestly, it's been better than I imagined.

This year I got to write, design, strategize, and problem-solve alongside clients I genuinely love working with — across healthcare, home services, publishing, and leadership. Every project different. Every voice different. That variety is exactly why I do this work.

One of my favorite parts of this work: helping people sound like themselves, not like generic marketing copy.

For a women's health practice, that means warm, educational, never alarmist. For a leadership consultant, it means strong verbs, short sentences, and questions that make you stop scrolling. For a plumber, it means sounding like the guy who's actually been under your sink.

Same writer. Completely different voice every time — because the client's voice is the point.

You don't need a full-time marketing hire to have a strategy.

Most of the businesses I work with are too big to wing it on social media alone, but not big enough (or ready) to bring on a full-time marketing director, a designer, a copywriter, and an ads manager separately.

That gap is exactly where fractional marketing lives — senior-level strategy plus hands-on ex*****on, without the overhead of building an internal team.

It's been a minute since I posted here — not because I stepped back from the work, just from talking about it. 👋

The last few months have been full: writing for a women's health practice, ghostwriting LinkedIn content for a leadership consultant, keeping a plumbing company's blog fresh, and helping a fellow designer think through her own brand messaging.

That's the part people don't always see about fractional marketing — it's not one lane. It's strategy in the morning, copywriting at lunch, and a book cover proof by evening.
