After hearing about the passing of Michael Donovan, I wanted to take a moment to honor someone who helped bring a beloved character to life for so many fans.

While he wasn’t the Master Roshi I personally grew up with, his contribution still became part of the legacy of a character that has inspired generations through humor, wisdom, strength, and the reminder that there should always be balance in the way we live our lives.

Rest in peace, Michael Donovan, and thank you for the part you played in carrying that legacy forward.

After finding out that Peter Cullen passed away, I knew I wanted to make something in his honor.

For generations, his voice gave life to a character that represented strength, courage, leadership, integrity, and the willingness to stand when others needed someone to lead the way.

That’s what I wanted this piece to represent. Even when the world around us looks like a battlefield, even when life leaves us surrounded by wreckage, we can still choose to stand tall, stand strong, stand proud, and keep moving forward.

Peter Cullen helped inspire generations through the characters he brought to life and the heart he gave them.

Rest in peace, Peter Cullen. Thank you for giving a voice to the hero inside each one of us.

“Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing.”

⚡️ Power Morphicon 2026 bound! ⚡️

Over the last couple of weeks, a lot of my time has gone into something a little different.

Instead of creating a brand-new edit or design from scratch, I’ve had the opportunity to help bring some of Morphin Time Fitness’s designs into the physical world for Power Morphicon 2026 next weekend.

From trading cards and stickers to QR cards and a limited batch of holographic Morphin5K stickers, it has been an honor to take these designs and turn them into physical pieces that can sit on the table, be handed out, and represent the community throughout the weekend.

It’s also been incredibly cool having the opportunity for Morphinominal Edits & Graphics to have a presence at the table as well.

I won’t personally be at Power Morphicon this year, but my craftsmanship will be, and there’s something pretty damn exciting about knowing that something produced right here from my home setup is about to make its way to one of the biggest Power Rangers events around.

Huge thank you to Kevin Eppley for trusting me with the project and giving me the opportunity to be part of it!

If you’re heading to Power Morphicon next weekend, keep an eye out for the Morphin Time Fitness table! ⚡️

Some designs are more personal than others. This is one of the most personal pieces I’ve ever worked on.

A few years ago, God brought my best friend Charles Stevenson into my life, and over time that friendship became something a lot deeper than just “yeah, that’s my buddy.”

From late-night conversations about life, relationships, faith, and whatever else was going on, to hopping on the Xbox together and passing the time with absolute shenanigans, we’ve been there for each other through a lot. We’ve supported each other, called each other out when needed, pushed each other forward, and had the kind of conversations you only really have with somebody you trust like family.

At some point, we started talking about creating something that represented that relationship. Maybe a tattoo, a symbol, or just something that was ours.

Because at the end of the day, Charles isn’t just my best friend.

He is my brother.

So I started pulling together different things we’ve connected over through the years and figuring out how to turn all of that into one design.

To start with, you have Anakin and Vader.

For us, they represent two sides of the same coin. Light and darkness. The parts of ourselves that are easy to understand, and the parts that sometimes aren’t. Some days we might feel more like Anakin, some days a little more like Vader.

Underneath all of that is the idea that life isn’t always made up of easy choices. Sometimes you know what’s right and wrong, but protecting the people you love, carrying responsibility, or making the hard decision can put you in places that aren’t always black and white.

Then you have Goku and Vegeta, both at their strongest point.

That one hits differently because Charles and I are both combat veterans. Two fellow warriors who understand what it means to fight for the things and people that matter to you.

Obviously, our relationship doesn’t come with Vegeta screaming about how much he hates Goku 😂, but that rivalry/relationship still represents something real to us. Goku and Vegeta constantly push each other to greater heights because neither one is willing to stay where they are.

Our version of that is a little different.

For us, it’s about pushing each other toward the best versions of ourselves. Supporting one another, challenging each other when needed, competing with ourselves, and refusing to let the other person settle for less than what we know they’re capable of.

Then in the background, you have Captain America and Bucky, with the shield and the words:

“I’m with you 'til the end of the line.”

That one is probably the simplest to explain.

No matter where life takes us, how much time passes, or how circumstances change, that’s the promise.

'Til the end of the line.

And then at the center is probably the most important part of the entire piece.

The crossed swords and crest are inspired by 1 Samuel 18:1-4, and the covenant between David and Jonathan.

Jonathan, the prince, gives David his robe, armor, sword, bow, and belt as a sign of covenant, loyalty, and brotherhood.

The crown in the center represents Jonathan as a prince and David as the future king. The robe represents that exchange of honor and identity. The belt ties back into the same covenant.

Even the swords have their own details.

Along David’s sword, near Vegeta’s head, are the five stones, representing the stones David chose before facing Goliath.

Jonathan was an archer, so his sword incorporates a bow and arrow into the design.

None of it is random.

Every piece represents something about who we are, what we’ve been through, what we believe, or what our friendship means.

Brotherhood. Loyalty. Faith. Accountability. Fighting for the people you love. Pushing each other forward. Standing beside one another through every version of life.

And after finally showing him the finished concept, I had one more thing to ask him.

I told him I’d send him some stickers, maybe even a little poster to hang up...

but on one condition.

He has to stand beside me as my best man at my wedding. And he said "Of course."

Definitely not the traditional best-man proposal, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Charles, I love you brother.

I’ve been spending a lot of time continuing to sharpen my Photoshop skills and looking for opportunities to revisit older projects with fresh eyes.

This week I revisited one of my older Dragon Ball Z inspired deadlift edits. Looking back, I realized the original focused a little too much on making the aura the center of attention. With everything I’ve learned since then, I wanted the energy to support the moment instead of overpowering it. The result feels more natural and keeps the focus where it belongs—on the accomplishment and the transformation itself.

I also finished designing the complete Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers design set! It’s always fun jumping between cinematic photo edits and graphic design projects because each one challenges a different part of my creativity and helps me continue growing as an artist.

I’m excited to keep refining my skills, creating new projects, and raising the bar with every design. Whether it’s a cinematic cosplay edit, custom artwork, or a full design set, every project is another opportunity to create something I’m proud to put my name on.

Which version of the Super Saiyan edit do you prefer—the original or the revision?

Recently, Diana and I had the absolute honor of serving at our church’s Vacation Bible School. This year’s theme was Castle of Courage, where the kids learned about putting on the Full Armor of God.

Not only did we have the opportunity to serve, myself on the security team and Diana helping with crafts, but I was also blessed to create a full set of Armor of God trading cards and stickers for the kids that tied into this year’s theme.

One of the coolest parts for me was being able to see my design come to life as the kids learned about putting on the Full Armor of God. Watching them collect the different pieces, proudly show off their completed crafts, and engage with something I had the opportunity to create, all while genuinely getting excited as they learned about God’s Word and what it means to put on the Full Armor of God, made the whole experience even more special.

Together, we were just a small part of creating a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment for so many amazing kids.

A huge thank you to lifechurchep LIFEchurch for allowing us to serve alongside such an incredible team of volunteers. It was a blessing to witness the hard work, love, and dedication that went into making this week so special.

To God be the glory. ❤️

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history, the freedoms we enjoy, and the sacrifices made by those who came before us to help preserve them.

As someone who has had the privilege to serve, I’m especially grateful for the freedom to continue creating, pursuing my passion, and sharing that journey with all of you. It’s something I never want to take for granted.

Whether you’re spending today with family, friends, or watching the fireworks light up the night sky, I hope you have a safe and blessed Fourth of July.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Every project is another opportunity to refine my craft and bring new ideas to life.

This round included:
⚡ A POV-inspired Kakashi edit that puts you face-to-face with one of the Hidden Leaf’s most iconic shinobi.
⚡ Completing the full Ninja Storm Ranger sticker set, bringing all six Rangers together and ready for production.

I enjoy stretching my creativity across different types of work. One project might focus on cinematic photo editing, while the next focuses on clean, polished graphic design. Each one strengthens a different part of my creative skill set, but they all contribute to the same goal: creating work I’m proud to put my name on.

I’m excited to keep refining, keep creating, and keep raising the bar with every project. Whether it’s a cinematic cosplay edit, custom graphic artwork, or another creative project, each one helps me deliver an even higher level of quality with every commission.

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately sharpening my skills and pushing myself to try new things creatively.

This week’s project started with a simple photo of an Obi-Wan Kenobi figure and grew into a full edit, a custom trading card concept, and a mock-up personalized for a local Star Wars costuming group, featuring their logo.

I also wrapped up a new sticker set featuring the Dino Thunder team designs.

Whether it’s stickers, photo edits, trading cards, or custom graphics, I enjoy taking an idea and finding new ways to bring it to life.

Which slide is your favorite?
