I think my favorite thing to hear (besides the infamous Doug drive-by) is people saying “Oo she’s painting!” I feel like people think they’re whispering, but I can definitely hear every single one & I LOVE it each time 🫶🏾

But the way I GENUINELY thought the woman who asked me if I had a permit was joking & I laughed in her face 🫣

& yes, I got permission from WORTHY home.lifestyle.fashion because they gave permission to Historic Downtown Snohomish ✌🏾

FRESH PAINT 2026 🎨

Another year of saving my favorite local art market of the season for laaaaast! Schack Art Center Fresh Paint Festival is absolutely perfect for a local vibe with a bunch of creative minds. This was my 2nd year & I swear, there were a few more “different” vendors than last year, which is always SUCH a treat. Shoutout to Lindsey Thompson for the delicious cookies, Shanna Duncan for another Audrey II, RainBee Designs for my new teacher bag (& a good cry) & Colby Ave WALK-IN TATTOO for my lil mushrooms!

Absolutely LOVED everyone that said they recognized me from the mural or my video ☺️🫣 It was such a great 2 days of slinging prints, talking about shoe spirits, melting in the sun, & meeting new people! Until next year!!

3 partial days into the Historic Downtown Snohomish Avenue C Mural & LEMME TELL YOU: I love this 🎨

I’m completely in awe of the amount of support I’ve received on the actual street painting, as well as online. To me, this is the easy part. Even painting in front of people as they walk by. I’ll be sharing more snippets of the days, but here’s the mural so far in all her glory 🎨

The unfortunate/beautiful way that my brain works: once a decision is made, it needs to be executed immediately or we’re late.

I have been wanting to paint this stairwell for YEARS. I saw it as a “small project” to get me started with the rest of the house. Idk why I thought this was small. Up until this day, I was convinced I was gonna paint it some bright, coloring blocking to give it some life (obviously not the move), but the morning of, I KNEW it was gonna be thick, black linework (got texts to Melanie Neff to prove it). I knew it had to compliment the tan that was already there & an entire day later: she exists in my house 🥰

“Momma, are you gonna paint this wall?” “Yes ma’am!” 🎨

Very, very excited to start working on the Avenue C Mural in Historic Downtown Snohomish ! THANK YOU to everyone that voted for my design & shoutout to Cassidy Hopkins for sending me this artist call for the last 2 years 🤪

I remember walking by this mural when visiting Maven Concrete Collective literally down the street to checkout her concrete making studio. & again when I ran the Snohomish Half a couple years ago. Such a giant breath of fresh air as art.

Complete with its own “selfie station”, it really is a local landmark that Im honored to leave my mark on location pin📍
