Two levels of outdoor living — built from scratch. 🔨

This project started as a bare backyard. Here's what it became:

Up top: a Trex Transcend Lineage® deck with Trex Signature® black aluminum railing — cool underfoot, gorgeous year-round, and backed by a 50-year warranty.

But the magic is underneath. We installed the Trex RainEscape® drainage system, which keeps the space below completely dry — so instead of wasted space under the deck, this family got a true outdoor room: tongue-and-groove pine ceiling with recessed lighting and ceiling fans, foundation walls wrapped in clean white PVC, and aluminum structural posts that will never rot or rust.

We finished it off with a paver patio and a custom stone fire pit with seat walls — the spot everyone will fight over when the sun goes down. 🔥

The best part? Virtually zero maintenance. No staining, no sealing, no painting. Just living.

Spending the day setting these cable railings over the signature decking in the Whidbey tone. Together they let the landscape lead, just clean lines and decking that blends naturally with the surroundings.
