There's been some misunderstanding about how Discord works and if servers/teams are affiliated, etc. Discord servers are independently owned by the people who create them. Like Facebook groups, they generally have topics or themes they want on their servers. Most Discord servers that deal with retro gaming, don't allow ROMs, etc. or other potentially illegal distribution on their servers. Some.. don't care. Occasionally, a Discord server might reference or even link to another Discord server where you may or may not be able to obtain such content.

Now that the basics are out of the way, a more direct response to some recent allegations are in order.

ACustomArcade is not associated with, nor has admin/moderation permissions on the Team Encoder or Packs R Us Discord servers. Similarly, Team Encoder has no admin/moderation permissions on the Packs R Us Discord server. Packs R Us admins similarly have no admin/moderation on either ACustomArcade or Team Encoder Discord servers. There are links (posted by various members of the servers) back and forth between the Discord servers, and such a link is in NO WAY to be assumed as some endorsement or official association of any of the servers.

Similarly, the goods/services provided by each server is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of that server. If you come to the ACustomArcade server and ask for help with the MIA software, I send you to the Team Encoder server since I only support the hardware.

Just because someone has joined some, or all, of the referenced Discord servers IN NO WAY means that there is some sort of affiliation between them. To make such an association is unfair.

And since it was directly asked, Grimm D (whoever that is) is not a member of ACustomArcade or Team Encoder and neither Team Encoder nor ACustomArcade sells any sort of IPTV service.

Since this is an announcement, I'm asking the Admins/Mods to disable comments on this post. I hope we can all put this drama to bed.

Special thanks to Jeff Beachy for working out a trade to get some developers iiRcade cabinets in exchange for enough iiRcade USB enablers for his cabinets. Since they were out of stock, a custom order was made and I have some extra to sell in the shop. So not only will anyone who buys a cabinet from him be guaranteed a board for their cabinet, but the boards will be back in stock in the shop after the holidays. If you're on the list already, I have enough boards to cover those orders and some extra.

Batch 3 of the Team Encoder iiRcade USB Enabler started shipping ahead of schedule. First wave of shipments packed up in our fancy new packaging. If you haven’t received a shipping notification, your order is not shipped yet. Please be patient and refrain from asking when your particular order will ship. We are busy packing and shipping as many orders as we can and don’t have time to answer every request. All orders should be shipped out within the next 2 weeks.

TL;DR: Batch 2 shipped, Batch 3 open for pre-order

All Batch 2 orders have been shipped. USPS took the final batch this morning. Tracking information will have updates later this evening once they reach the distribution center.

Batch 3 will accept pre-orders until September 20, 2023 9:00pm EST. That's 3 weeks from today. At that time, the manufacturing order will be placed and I expect to begin shipping starting October 9th. Please don't miss this one!

I'll order a bit extra to cover some of the last-minute stragglers, but I do not anticipate this being a regularly stocked item. There are a finite number of cabinets, and not everyone is interested in modifying their cabinets so I don't have a way to determine how many I should order so they don't go to waste.

If you want one, order one. If you think you might want one, order one. We are only scratching the surface of what can be done on this cabinet, you don't know what else will be possible in the future.

As I mentioned previously, there are some spare boards from Batch 2. They are all accounted for. If you signed up early enough for the Batch 3 notifications and placed your order, you'll get your order shipped early. I don't have an ETA, nor will I say how many boards are available... I don't know myself. These are boards I purchased to cover any shipping issues and defective replacements. As Batch 2 orders get delivered, I'll start releasing some boards. Please don't ask if you're getting one. You'll know you're getting one if you receive a shipping notification early. I'll ignore any emails or chats asking if you are on the "early" list.

Thanks for all the support through Batch 1 and Batch 2. We learned a lot about scaling the shop, and Batch 3 is already off to a much smoother start. I can't wait to see what you all do with these boards in the future!

I wanted to take a moment to provide some updates.

I've been getting a lot of questions from folks asking if there was a problem with their Batch 2 order because they didn't get an email. Batch 2 has STARTED shipping. It's not fully shipped, and will not be fully shipped for at least another week. If you ordered at the end of the pre-order period (August 4th was the last day) you're not even close to having your order shipped yet. I'm about 1/3 through the orders, and will continue shipping every day until they're all shipped.

You can check the status of your order on your account page on the website. If it doesn't say Shipped, it hasn't shipped out yet. I have way too many orders to provide every single person with an estimated shipping date. When your order ships, you will receive an email letting you know it has shipped. There are also emails letting you know when the carrier receives the package, and when the package is out for delivery. All emails come from [email protected] so make sure your spam filters allow emails from that address.

I want to also call out that my original estimate for orders to begin shipping was August 28th. So I'm well ahead of schedule for Batch 2.

I'm also getting a lot of questions about Batch 3. Batch 3 will be available for pre-order sometime this/next week. Batch 3 will be open for 3 WEEKS ONLY. If you miss Batch 3... I'm not sure what to tell you.

Once pre-orders for Batch 3 open up, if you were one of the early sign-ups for Batch 3 notifications, I'll start shipping out spare Batch 2 stock in the order of sign ups until I'm out of boards. Please don't ask if you are going to get one. If you were early enough, you'll get an email that your order has shipped. I have to keep some spare stock available for any potential issues with shipping, so I'll release some stock as orders get delivered. Batch 3 won't start shipping until the end of September or early October (just in time for Glen's deck I think).

Didn't get yours yet? I can't provide individual shipping estimates, bump your package, sneak you in, etc. Orders are being shipped in the order they were received.

Batch 3 pre-orders will be opened up sometime this week. If you've already signed up for in-stock notifications on the website and there are spare boards from batch 2, those who signed up early will get their orders filled as part of batch 2 from any available spares. I'll be moving people to batch 2 in order from when they signed up until all the spares are gone. Everyone else will be a part of batch 3.

The iiRcade USB Enabler will have a batch 3. Pre-orders should open up in about 2 weeks. Please sign up at the product page for notifications, or follow ACustomArcade to receive updates on when the pre-ordering is available. I’ll be keeping the ordering open for 2 weeks.

Batch 2 is still on track to begin shipping August 28th. I can’t provide individual shipping estimates with so many orders, but they’re shipping on a first come, first served order. I expect all boards to be shipped by September 16th.
