Alright, we’re bringing Trivia Night back to Gamers Alley this Monday for Labor Day!

It’s been a LONG time since we’ve done one, so I’m really looking forward to getting this going again.

We’ll start at 6:30 PM, and there will be prizes throughout the night.

I’m also going to start dropping some random trivia questions in here throughout the weekend leading up to Monday. Get one right, and you will win a pack of the latest Pokémon set, which you can pick up during Trivia Night.

So let’s start with the first one.

👀 Look what rolled across the trade-in counter today...
Xbox Series S + two controllers, a stack of PS2/360/GameCube heat (Soul Reaver 2, Catherine, RE3 Nemesis, RE2 — survival horror night, anyone?), a wall of Pokémon & One Piece cards, and a fresh batch of Riftbound foils.

This is the fun part of running a game store — you never know what's coming through the door next. All of it's headed to the shelves soon, so keep an eye out. 🎮🃏

As many of you already probably know, we lost a legend yesterday.

For many of us at Gamers Alley and for many of you reading this now you probably knew him as Optimus Prime. I’m pretty sure as you read the words "Autobots, roll out!" you can hear his voice in your head too.

Or maybe you knew him as Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh, Monterey Jack from Chip 'n' Dale's Rescue Rangers, the narrator from Voltron, Ramrod from Saber Rider, or more recently Thaedus in Invincible.

However you’ve come to know him, we wanted to share the story of how his brother inspired him to create the iconic voice of Optimus Prime and pay tribute to the man that has inspired generations.

“Don’t be a Hollywood hero. Be a real hero. Real heroes don’t yell or act tough; they are strong enough to be gentle.”

Thank you Peter. You will be missed.
