9 years ago I painted my first commissioned mural in a college movie room….and now I’m painting the ENTIRE side of a MOVIE THEATER!!!! (All 6,000 square feet of it🤪) Words cannot express the excitement and gratitude I’m feeling right now. If I could only time travel to tell my 21 year old self what would grow from that first mural…. (Thanks Campus View!)

As part of the recurring Heartside Historic Mural Project, the Studio Park alley is being transformed into “Entertainment Way”, and will feature iconic Grand Rapids entertainers and venues from the past 150+ years.

I’m collaborating on these walls with the incredible artist Michi Farias and am supported by the dream team: Corrin, Emma, Harmony, Bobby and Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids

We will be out here almost every day until October! So if you’re in downtown Grand Rapids, please come say hi and check out our progress! (See the last 2 slides for my first mural❤️)

I worked with Lyon Township Public Library to create a design for their paint by number mural! We sent the design to Paintillio, who manufactured the panels with the numbered sections printed on. Such a cool process! Now the community gets to paint it. I'm bummed I'm not actually there, but excited to see how it turns out!

Finally sharing the making of this magic portal near the back entrance of Kids 'N' Stuff Children's Museum! We had a wonderful time painting this burst of color during Albion’s fall festival. Gosh, I love Albion! And they have the most incredible vintage murals. It’s an honor to become part of the view.

So honored to return to Kent District Library Plainfield Branch to add a cozy, wondrous woods to their youth area! Tucked amongst the trees are friendly Michigan critters and lots of library books. Can you think of a more magical combo?! We even transformed a purple pillar into a tree!

So cool to see people lined up in front of my pride and joy! Hehe! I hope they took pics. Apparently they were waiting in line for something called Needoh? I’m out of the loop… more of a beanie baby gal myself 😂

We wanted to thank everyone for coming to the museum this morning and waiting patiently to participate in the Needoh craze! We will be getting more shortly and we will post again when we do. Most of all we thank you for shopping locally in Downtown Coldwater.

Today’s the day! In honor of ultra marathon, I’m sharing the artwork I made for the inaugural year of their artist feature series! We created collectible posters and tees to capture the vibrant spirit of the event, featuring the iconic Sandhill crane, native flora around the Huron river watershed, and my favorite, the quirky characters! My sister runs ultras, and let me tell ya, it’s no easy feat. I have mad respect for anyone who can run one of these. (I’m gassed after A mile 😂)
