My name is Phillip Ortiz, I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I’m originally from New Mexico, but I currently reside in the midwest with my wife and 3 kids. In 2004 I graduated from Southwest University of Visual Arts. I have over twelve years experience working in the graphic design and advertising industry. I’ve worked on a broad range of projects over the years, creating and strengthening

brands, creating custom illustration and working with various teams across the country. In addition, I’ve worked with a large engineering and architecture firm as an in-house designer. This experience included working with one other designer, over 10 marketers and servicing over 20 locations across the United States. I offer an excellent work ethic with passion to communicate effectively through the various types of visual media found in today’s current marketing and advertising world. Excellent corporate branding doesn’t happen by accident, but by skillful intent; a quality of which I bring to every project. By utilizing proficiency in the necessary design tools, and a vast amount of creative energy, my intent is to establish positive, reputable business to client relationships through creative media. I also understand that the importance of casting vision through internal branding is as important as establishing quality branding to existing and prospective markets. This website is a showcase for my creative expression. I love creative expression in graphic design, illustration, art, print, and photography. Graphics and art have the power to speak, to lead, and to communicate great ideas. My desire is to use that power to bring significance to the lives of those around me. I believe that the design services I provide will enable you to make a positive and lasting impression on your customers.
