Yesterday was beautiful for so many reasons. Liz & Linnie thank you so much for having me and providing a safe environment to meet so many talented artists, eat the most delicious local food, and see friends and family who I haven’t seen in too long! Thank you to everyone who stopped by my tent and also huge thanks to my husband Ryan who is not on social media, but was an insanely big help for this market. 🤍🤍🤍

It’s funny how designing wedding invitations often forces me to be engulfed by off-season botanicals since I make them 6+ months out. Tropicals in October? 🌴Heck yes!🌴 I am thoroughly enjoying creating this invitation suite for a March destination wedding for two of the best humans beings I know!!

Any engaged couples out there who are confused about wording etiquette for your wedding stationery? My easy rule of thumb is you should match the formality of your invitation wording to the dress code you want guests to adhere by. The actual event is often easier for engaged couples to envision than to figure out exactly how to word minuscule details on the paper goods. This is why I always ask my couples to describe the vibe/theme/style they want for their wedding and that’s extremely helpful for me to point them in the best direction. I really love that people are breaking all the rules of wedding traditions these days so really, you can do whatever you want, but I thought this could be a helpful hint for anyone who is stuck on those little details.
