23 New ISA MAGNUS|One Wellness Coaches Certified
This week, we had the privilege of certifying 23 new MAGNUS | One Wellness Coaches through the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Wellness Coaching Certification Program.
Hosted by Mike Eggleston and the outstanding team at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, this class brought together leaders, peer supporters, and wellness champions from across Indiana who share a common mission: helping their people survive, recover, grow, and thrive.
Through a deep study of Dr. Mitch Javidi’s MAGNUS Ovea Theory, participants explored the factors that influence readiness, resilience, leadership, wellness, and performance. They learned to recognize signs of stress through the Mission Readiness (Stress Continuum) model and practical strategies to help people move toward regulation and recovery.
A major focus of the course was our coaching framework:
Recognize. Regulate. Build Elasticity.
Participants also received hands-on training in MAGNUS|One Wellness Coaching, OARS coaching skills, motivational interviewing, scenario-based coaching exercises, Mission Readiness assessments, MAGNUS AI, and app-based coaching and accountability systems.
We were honored to welcome Superintendent Anthony Scott of the Indiana State Police and grateful for the continued support and vision of ISA Executive Director Steve Luce.
Special thanks to Mike Eggleston, who hosted the event and served as an instructor alongside Tiffany Andras and myself. His leadership and commitment to wellness are making a meaningful difference for Indiana’s public safety community.
As these 23 coaches return to their agencies, they carry more than a certification. They carry the opportunity to become force multipliers for wellness, resilience, and readiness in the organizations they serve.
The future of public safety wellness will not be built solely through programs.
It will be built through people.
