Ysayle is so dedicated to Kyokushin Karate and trains constantly outside of the dojo. She is only 5 years old and loves training and has no idea how proud I am of her. Aranami Dojo has been an absolute blessing as she has gained tremendous confidence in herself and is learning discipline that I never knew she would have at this age. I highly recommend attending for yourself or having your kids go and learn Kyokushin.

I mentioned before that I’m on a break from content creation to focus on my kids back to school and my Kyokushin Karate training: but if I’m being real, nothing in me wants to come back to it. Regardless of the social media platform, the general discourse around gaming and tech and just about anything these days is just…..draining to a point where I don’t even care to be on any of these platforms let alone make content anymore.

I don’t get much enjoyment out of making content anymore, especially not when the carbon copy response to reviewing something you like means you’re “bought and paid for” or if you don’t care for something you’re a hater. It’s the complete black and white extremisms, the daily fake outrage, and just realizing there are a metric ton of absolutely miserable people that have access to the internet that makes me grateful I have a life outside of the internet and social media.

I will be finishing up reviews and previews I have in the works but after that…….yeah I don’t know if this is something I want to keep doing anymore.

15 years as a creator is a long time and I’m glad I’m not pigeon holed into only being a creator for a niche as I own multiple businesses and am a consultant for big brands and businesses and am a podcaster. But this creator space? The audience these days? The performative fake outrage nature of people just for social media likes and money?

Yeah this isn’t what I got into this for and I will never allow that or even my own audience dictate what I do, how I think, or anything. There’s too many fake people in content creation and too many big creators that have no spine and bend to the whims of trends and politics and their own fickle audiences. That’s not me, I’m the same now as I’ve been the last 15 years and if you’re not down with that, the door and unfollow is right there.

I Highly recommend you take classes here if you’re interested in learning Kyokushin Karate with a great community of people and a phenomenal sensei
