✔️ CANVA is an amazing tool for designing several different things like templates for social media. ⁣
⁣
❌ CANVA for the design of your Brand, that’s a big NO for several reasons.⁣
⁣
~ You can’t create a vector on Canva~⁣
Vector files are extremely important at the time of creating your logo, there will be limitations when trying to edit or modify your logo in a feature.⁣
⁣
~ No uniqueness~⁣
Canva is strictly template-based, this means that it is extremely hard for your logo & brand to stand out if million of users have a logo that looks just like yours or close to it.⁣
⁣
~ Legal Issues~⁣
Using Canva for your logo won’t give you legal right to own it since you are not able to trademark your brand and establish it. Canva is technically the owner of your logo.⁣

Hire a designer to help your create all the visual aspects of your brand and to walk you through this special process.⁣

~ My name is Cassandra (Cass) and I’m the voice behind CDS. ⁣
⁣
~ I’m half Colombian and half Mexican, so I’ve lived in U.S.A > Colombia > Mexico > U.S.A again and planning on staying here in Houston, TX⁣
⁣
~ I’m a mother of a beautiful 3 year-old princess who has an amazing imagination.⁣
⁣
~ We are in the process of constructing our house which is the most important project we’ve had as a family. ⁣
⁣
~ I absolutely LOVE planning, creating and designing new projects, specially when I get to work with passionate people. ⁣
⁣
~ I’m a soon to be graduate from UHCL with a major in mass communications and a minor in graphic design.⁣
⁣
~ I love to work as a freelancer but I also enjoy working and being part of bigger branding companies.⁣

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been working on redesigning this brand to help it take to the next phase. As a freelancer it was extremely important to myself to express my essence with the people who have been along my side on this ride.⁣
