Petro IT is in Doha at the PODS Association International Global Summit, day 1!

Ghazal Abou Al Ela is the PODS MENA (Middle East & North Africa) Chapter Coordinator for PODS. As the Global Summit brings together operators, service providers, and technology leaders to explore the future of pipeline data management, her role is to coordinate, organize and help communicate about chapter events, sponsorships, industry topics and community collaboration. Congratulations Ghazal!

Tomorrow, Rick Roberts, with the support of Sachin Srivastava, will be providing a technical presentation on accurate and high-quality pipeline data and records and how they are foundational to the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of pipeline infrastructure. More information to be shared.

Hearing inspiring stories from women in the industry, seeing how challenges turned into success, and witnessing the growing focus on diversity and women’s empowerment in the region was all a part of the Pipeline Technology Conference Asia!

Our very own Ghazal Abou Al Ela was invited to lead the Women in Pipeline panel, guiding Steve Davies, Nurzalina Jamaluddin, Kamonwan Ruangpattanatawee, and Murni Shaharom in engaging conversations. It was a terrific example of strong engagement from both speakers and audience on how we can always best support one another.

A busy Middle East continues this week at the Pipeline Technology Conference Asia, are you there?

In its inaugural year, it is an amazing success in attracting TWICE the number of initial estimated participants. The BIGGEST Oil & Gas Exhibition in the Middle East took place last week in Abu Dhabi and Petro IT was there!

At ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, there was over 239,000 attendees with a speaker list that is made up of the best in the industry. Petro IT was there to meet with clients and continue to showcase our complete ecosystem of connected solutions that are designed to guide you through every stage of the infrastructure lifecycle.

We're heading to Pipeline Technology Conference Asia next week, and Ghazal Abou Al Ela of Petro IT is honored to be the moderator of a very important panel: Women in the Pipeline Industry.

This panel will look at actionable solutions for creating gender-inclusive environments in the global workforce. Experts from several areas will discuss practical strategies that organizations can take to attract, retain, and elevate female talent in the pipeline industry. An important driver is the role of mentorship, with emphasis on female and male mentors fostering career growth.

We look forward to hearing from the panelists for an incredible discussion on all that continues to take place in the industry:

Their presentation focused on the case study of Spiecapag's implementation of Stack 61 and Pipetrak IT. It was a full room!

IPLOCA in Izmir, Turkey was an amazing success!

Rick Roberts traveled to represent Petro IT as he was able to meet with and listen to incredible industry leaders addressing the challenges and opportunities in the pipeline construction industry. Great focus was given to AI transformation, energy transition, carbon capture, hydrogen, and more.
