To start off 2023, I wanted to let everyone know that I’m stepping away from designing full time. I guess is some type of way, I’m “retiring” from it lol 🤷🏻♂️. I’ve been doing this 20 years as a hobby and 18 years professionally. To be honest, I feel like I’ve done all that I can do in that professionally and I kind of just want to try something new.
As most of you know, Haley and I closed our 2022 by packing up and moving to L.A. for her job promotion. We packed everything we owned in one car & hit the road. On the way here my work computer got a little banged up. Honestly I haven’t even had it plugged in the whole time here, & it’s time for a new one anyway. I’ve just found a new freedom not being tied down to a list of photoshop demands after 20 years. I don’t think I don’t think I’ll ever find peace after 2015, but I feel like I have my hands on a Map and I’m at least finding a new path/route.
I’ll never stop designing 100%, but you won’t see me promoting etc. Day to day, the Kingz Ink shop is closed…
Thanks to EVERYONE I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the years, the good and the bad.
