Sometimes Saying “Goodbye” is not Easy.
The decision to proceed with releasing a Affiliate program should be well thought-out. After all you have your Leaders and warm market to consider. Many managing Sponsors avoid terminating “ok” or even “bad” Companies because they are conflict-adverse, have self-doubt, or are unable to separate their concern for the person from the performance. The price of keeping these Companies is high. “Ok” and “bad” Affiliate Companies can decrease morale within your personal team and organization, decrease long-term productivity, and can have negative effects on customer satisfaction and revenues. It also compromises your leadership ability.
There are four signs that it is time to say “goodbye”:
There is a lack of progress or follow-through on projects.
There is a disregard for organizational processes or procedures.
There is a lack of trust.
They have a poor attitude communication, especially if their attitude is spreading throughout the team.
If this is happening within your Network... then goodbyes are easy... Or If nothing else... When your checks stop rolling in...
Think about that, how many employees will keep coming to work if they miss 1 Friday check.
