Responsible AI and your IT Leadership: Aside from having pristine 100% accurate data, flawless training models, and a cost effective platform... are you doing all you can for your own company to ensure success?

You need to remember that this is technology and it needs to be treated as such with proper governance, risk management, lifecycle management, and more.

It's a good read and a must have download if you are thinking about LLM/ML/AI or have already leapt in head first.

Recent Breaches: AT&T, Apple, Dell, Microsoft, Bank of America, and the list goes on. The full story on these breaches don't come out for six to sometimes 12 months or more. You can no longer trust even your longest lasting or major relationships to protect your information. Are you being selective with what you share? What is an appropriate level of sharing, even with Microsoft? Maybe you know what to do but don't have the time?

With the onslaught of AI and the rush to be the Defacto AI Platform, are we all really paying attention? Interesting verbiage from Microsoft with their "Recall" feature in the Copilot+PCs product (See Image).

Are your users using this feature and storing company information on BYOD, or WFH equipment?

Everyone is pumping personal and company information into ML and GenAI platforms, but what are your assurances that your information is protected? Apparently, you may have agreed to let Microsoft, or others, off the hook.

AI is the new wild west. Proceed with caution and feel free to ask us any questions that you may have the subject. We have tools and processes that can help your business avoid some of these pitfalls.

“Somewhat Prepared” is not a strategy when it comes to preparation for cyberwarfare.

According to a recent poll in the https://www.uschamber.com/sbindex/quarterly-spotlight 60% of small businesses are concerned about cybersecurity threats, and 58% are concerned about a supply chain breakdown.
“The small businesses most concerned about cybersecurity threats include businesses with 20-500 employees (Our customer base).
Ransomware Attacks by Industry Sector (February 2024)

49% of small businesses say they have trained staff on cybersecurity measures in the past year, 23% think they are “very prepared” to handle cyberthreats, and 50% feel “somewhat prepared.”
It’s no surprise that small businesses are concerned—they have limited resources, and yet they need to be ready to fight off the same sophisticated criminal gangs as the biggest enterprises.

Good day everyone and a special thanks to those that are following C4A.

I will be posting a new blog next week on protecting yourself, and your social media friends. For now, if you are on a public forum and/or your friends and followers lists are visible to anyone; you are helping out the scammers.

Until then, here's a short (less than 3 minutes) video about something almost everyone here has seen repeatedly.
